What next in the quest to protect people from health emergencies and pandemics?


As a devastating Ebola outbreak grows faster than any before it, world leaders are scheduled to adopt a Political Declaration on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response at the UNGA High-Level Meeting on 25 September. In the midst of this crisis, there is an opportunity for leaders to commit to concrete, measurable actions to close the gaps exposed time and again by health emergencies and that continue to put the world at grave risk.
